It's not a real battle. It's not a game either. It's just one of those phases that we're(me & hubby) dealing with right now. Well, Zhavar(16 mo), our son, is having trouble to go to sleep since about one week ago. Somehow he's just been refusing to close his eyes. Even just for a minute. So when he gets tired and it's already past his bed time, he gets very restless.
Me & hubby have tried several metods. And none of them seemed to be working. I've read on the babycenter.com, that this is a very normal and common problem for a child at this age. I was kind of relieved after reading it. But still have been wondering as to what we could do to overcome this.
As first time parents, we're very challenged by this. And have been keeping on trying new methods,that we can think of.
So days goes by. And yesterday was good news. I was able to make him sleep in 45 minutes. Which, otherwise would usually take about 1 hour or so. Boy, I'm so glad about the improvement.
And today, he's fallen asleep after just 5 minutes or so. I guess it's because today he played quite alot and got him exhausted.
Anyway, the bottom line there's an improvement.
